It's All About Perspective:

Our most trying times have a lot to offer us.

In the mess We are vulnerable, exposed, maybe even frantic. However, We are always more than this.

We are resilient, beautiful, easeful, free, concerned for one another and the world at large. The difficult and challenging circumstances in life force us to step forward and be who we are in raw and cutaway form.

Stepping into grace and harmony is a choice. It means accepting that we are dealing with a mess and choosing to look for the silver lining in all terrible things. Because life isn't just about suffering. It's about being challenged and asked to grow over and over again. This is by no means easy. Growing pains are visceral and the experiences associated with them can challenge us to the core. They ask us to rise and meet what's facing us with determination and self acceptance.

The truth is we all choose our perspective in life.

Taking responsibly and accountability for that perspective is essential. The number of people taking responsibility for their lives and decisions on our planet must increase.

How do you react to the ideas I state here? How do you take accountability for your status in the world? How are you unhappy, anxious or angry? Why are you unhappy, anxious or angry? And do you take responsibility for your part in feeling that way? How are you handling the decisions that are within your control? Many times we say we can't or won't do something based on someone else's circumstances. "My mom needs this, my dad wants that, my grandmother thinks this, my kids won't understand, my uncle won't be happy, my cousin won't talk to me, my husband won't get it, my coworkers won't like me... IF...".  Do you do this?

MAKING YOUR MESS YOUR MESSAGE MEANS FACING WHAT IS CHALLENGING YOU AND CHOOSING TO SEE THE SILVER LINING, AKA THE BENEFITS OF THAT CHALLENGE, IN ORDER TO FOSTER POSITIVE AND HEALTHY SELF GROWTH.

One must learn and practice choosing to focus on the silver lining instead of what seems unfair, stupid, confusing, frustrating, etc. This is BIG work. Sharing that positive and healthy self growth with your loved ones is one example of how you can take mess to message. Letting others know how you overcame, stretched, learned, dug deep and found strength is invaluable. It's imperative that we embrace vulnerability in order to better care for ourselves and our world.

From pain came beauty.

From confusion came clarity.

From depression came seeking.

From anxiety came action.

From challenge came accomplishment.

From my story I know my steps forward.

From fear came faith.

From love came support.

From self care came resilience.

From tragedy came comedy.

From drama came unity with the archetypes.

We all make choices. Everyday, all day. Choose to see what is challenging you as an opportunity. Choose growth, self love, non violence and faith. Find peace in fun. Find love in serving others.

Every cloud has a silver lining.
