Creative Psychotherapy in San Francisco
Specializing in Anxiety
With the use of therapy, it is possible to:
decrease stress & anxiety
develop better coping strategies
increase self-confidence & self-worth
nourish yourself & heal
ease self-judgment & develop compassion
I draw from modalities and practices that treat and benefit individuals suffering from anxiety, stress, depression, codependency, grief & loss, life transitions, and relationship issues.
I became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#90674)in San Francisco after graduating with a Master's of Art in Integral Counseling Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies. I also hold a Bachelor’s in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach. Psychology. Working for Golden Gate Integral Counseling Center, SEEDs of Awareness, private practice and various charter and independent schools in the Bay Area has contributed to my growth and style as a therapist. I value the eclectic ways people communicate, collaborate, share and experience love.
Prior to being a mental health therapist, I worked for several non-profit agencies in Orange County, California that provide services to immigrant and at-risk families. Multiculturalism and cultural sensitivity are significant and prioritized themes in my life, training and clinical work. I believe that recognizing issues and opportunities related to diversity helps clients move forward with more awareness, self-compassion and intentionality. I deeply enjoy helping others find value in the range of experiences (body, mind, heart and spirit) that life offers. I encourage clients to be curious and conscious in order understand themselves more fully.
